I've been imagining and writing stories with keen interest and aptitude since elementary school, thanks to a couple friends who also chose fiction over reality. Then I grew enough to become distracted by sports, music, scholastics, and the far more fascinating romantic adventures. I pushed through higher education, knowing it mattered less than it should, and likewise slogged through a decade-long career as a corporate lackey. It wasn't until I designed and built a home for myself on a mountainside that I removed enough distractions to get back to serious, experimental writing. I published a handful of stories and served as an editor for about six years, all the while analyzing and honing my own skills with the intent of being as versatile as possible, as accurately expressive as I possibly could be. You never know when something transformative—like vivid, epic dreams!—will require you to drop everything else, shift gears, and obey the calling.
So here I am, far away from my careful planning, introducing to you the visions that have consumed me for the past two years, which also clued me in to just how many ways over the last 30 years I had been prepped for this telling. And yet this isn't really about me...
Look further to see what you must see: the reflection, the conduit, the opportunity. Please don't be cross at me if I challenge you, if I get you to think more than you'd like, because it is the true growth stimulant, the catalyst before the victory! I'd like to take the chance to give each of you an encouraging smile, and wish for you great success in your own life journeys. I cling to the hope and promise that you will be an important part of a benevolent future.
